Initial situation

Claudia Wolf’s love of her old homeland and fascination with the world of coffee had long been driving her desire to open her own coffee roastery in Cuxhaven. With the beautiful listed house at the end of Schillerstraße, her dream property was quickly found. The former restaurant had been completely deconstructed, which is why it was possible to customize the interior to suit individual needs.

Results

The industrial design, developed in close cooperation with the owner, focuses on clean lines, stylish accents and inspiring architectural gestures. For example, an Art Deco ceiling fresco was discovered by chance during the extension phase. It was then uncovered, conserved and skilfully showcased with accent lighting.

The combination of smoked oak, metal surfaces and the generous room height of almost four metres creates a feel-good ambience in which the love of coffee is lived out every day.

“When dreams come true, it is often the result of intensive cooperation between many people. W+P’s advice and professional management not only convinced me, but also spurred on everyone involved to finish on time for Christmas business.”
