Initial situation

Savills Immobilien Beratungs-GmbH had already found a suitable location for successful business development in the metropolis years ago with the mainBuilding in Frankfurt. However, growth plans required a greater amount of space. In addition to a refresh of the semi-public areas (reception, conference area, staff lounge) in 2014, the company decided to relocate within the mainBuilding.

In 2017, Savills started to consider an occupancy concept geared towards growth. The objective was to realise an appealing and individual interior design concept in the new space.

The development of a distinctive interior design concept was implemented within the framework of structured decision-making with Management. Company-specific corporate identity requirements played a role in this process, as did the need to shape identity and corporate values. The open space areas in two wings of the building were complemented by various room configurations for purposes of retreat, concentration and communication. A central staff lounge acts as a connecting element within the area. The well-being of the employees is enhanced by a welcoming atmosphere, distinctive design elements and high functional quality.

Development of the new office concept was time-consuming. But this effort was 100% worth it. You can see how employees are enjoying the colourful environment and the many original ways of working.”
