The competition
The Scientific Society for Management and Consulting (WGMB) from Bonn examines the participating consulting firms on behalf of compamedia with regard to their special qualities.
According to WGMB, different test criteria, primarily however “a customer-focused, medium-sized Beraterleistung“.
In the context of a scientifically based procedure, the reference customers provide information about:
- How professional did the consultants appear?
- How satisfactory was the consulting performance?
- What impact resulted from the collaboration?

The results of the customer survey are evaluated together with other company data and are elementary for the selection.
The decision as to which consulting firms make the leap into Germany’s consulting elite is made by the scientific management of the WGMB together with a jury. The scientific management is composed of Prof. Dr. Dietmar Fink and Bianka Knoblauch.
Only those consultants are awarded the TOP CONSULTANT seal, which could be proven by the scientific procedure a good or very good result.
