Initial situation

The Berner Group was undergoing a “generation change” and examining its strategic orientation. The challenge was to develop an encompassing spatial and organisational concept that strengthened its branding and became more flexible in terms of operational orientation. At the same time, the attractiveness of the property and the work environment was to be increased and aligned with future requirements.

  • Location strategy and concept for the first Business Club of the Berner Group
  • New leasing of approx. 1,000 m² at the Cologne site (showroom concept)
  • Implementation of a Business Club concept at the Cologne site for executive departments and board members
  • Realisation of an interior concept to strengthen identification and branding
  • Reduction of the total space leased by approx. 300 m²
  • Increase in the attractiveness of the work environment and improved communication with a simultaneous reduction in staff travel
