Initial situation

Our client, a key player in the field of gas services, was planning a modernisation of former office space over approx. 1,000 m² at Zimmerstraße in Berlin. A participative process including the 40 employees was set up and an intensive analysis of needs carried out. During the process, the existing property turned out not to be ideal for the requirements that had been established, so prompting a dedicated market analysis.

Results

In mid-2020, after a selection process and intensive negotiations, an exclusive 750 m² top-floor space was secured at Hackesche Höfe. The individual design concept combined an ecological and an activity-based working approach. With a room-within-a-room system for meetings and retreats, and many natural materials and plants, a convincing homely environment was set up during the pandemic period, of which employees are now rightly very proud following relocation.
