Initial situation

Hogan Lovells LLP, a professional international law firm, had already signed a lease contract in Frankfurt’s newest highrise building Omniturm during it’s construction phase. Subsequently, W+P was commissioned to manage all parties involved and to monitor budget and schedule. In addition, W+P was responsible for the comprehensive tender process for furniture and equipment, monitored the installation of furniture and equipment and managed all move related activities including clearing of the existing space and the verification of dilapidation costs.

Services

  • Determination of needs and requirements profile
  • Clarification and negotiation of special tenant requirements
  • Cost and budget tracking
  • Project management for planning and construction
  • Furniture tendering
  • Move management
  • Advice on dilapidation obligations

Results

As part of the project management, the team of W+P supported Hogan Lovells in the timely delivery of all user decisions required for the tenant fit-out planning, including coordination of the design team. The continuous verification of tenant fit out cost and professional negotiations with the landlord as well as an elaborate tender process for furniture and equipment ensured a realization in highest quality within the project budget.

Despite the lockdown situation in spring 2020, which was new to all project participants, the move of Hogan Lovells to the Omniturm was completed in time and on budget. Systematical risk management, transparent and proactive communication between all parties involved and a highly flexible and solution-oriented project team were key success factors.

„We felt very well looked after during the whole time and are extremely satisfied with the performance of the W+P team in all details.“
